Gary" Bubba" DiOrio Youth Football League
The Canon City Recreation District's Gary "Bubba" DiOrio Youth Football program is an introductory level program for boys and girls looking to learn about the fundamentals of football.
Practices will focus on individual instruction, team play, sport specific drills and having fun. All padded flag and tackle coaches are USA Football Heads Up Certified.

| DEPOSITS: | a $125 equipment deposit is required for the padded flag and tackle football leagues. Players can use their own equipment, but must bring it by the office to have Rec District staff evaluate that it fits properly. |
| TOY BOWL: | All Credit Union of Colorado Tackle teams will play in the Toy Bowl November 4th at Citizen Stadium (CCHS) |

Clinic:

Players who wish to play in the Credit Union of Colorado Tackle Football League must attend the player evaluation clinic. Its purpose is to provide assessments for the draft in order to make the teams as fair as possible. Players must be registered and attend the clinic to be eligible for the draft. All registered players will be placed on a team. (Out-of-District players need not attend. Penrose/Florence players may attend but will not be part of the draft process.) Date: Saturday, August 12th. Times: 6th Graders at 9:00 am and 5th Graders at 10:30 am Clinic will be held rain or shine! |
