The youth wrestling program is for boys and girls ages 5 to 13 who wish to learn the fundamentals of wrestling. Wrestlers learn escapes, take downs, rides, and many more moves. Children will wrestle other children of similar size and ability.
Practices are on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Canon City High School wrestling room. Practice days are subject to change and practices over the holiday breaks will be announced by the coaches.
If your child is interested in going to the next level, he or she may participate in tournaments with Pikes Peak Wrestling. Participation in the tournaments is not mandatory, however it is an option for any child in our program.
