Serving our community since 1965, the Recreation District's goal is to offer the best possible recreational opportunities for all of our citizens and visitors. We would like to hear from you. - Firewood for Sale
Firewood for Sale!!
The Canon City Recreation and Park District has firewood for sale. You will need to come by the office at 575 Ash St. to be issued a permit based on the size of the load you have purchased. Then you will need to set up a time to meet with a staff member at Pathfinder Park in Florence to load it. The firewood is precut, and you must load it yourself. Here are the following prices:
$25-Short bed truck
$50- Regular bed/ extended bed
$50-For 8' or Smaller Trailer
$100- For Larger than 8' Trailer
*$25 add on fee if cab has racks
*Combination of bed and trailer would be combination of both prices.

Recreation District Activities During COVID-19
The Recreation District is following state guidelines in determining open registration for youth and adult outdoor recreational activities.
Registration for Kids Klub remains open.
We are continually monitoring the situation and working with local health officials to modify the programs we can offer at this time. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this uncertain time.
