Parks and Recreation Month

Tiger Sports Camps Canceled

The Cañon City Area Recreation & Park District and the Canon City High School coaching staff have decided to cancel the soccer, volleyball and football summer camps due to COVID-19 safety concerns.   For those who have already registered, you will receive a call and you can either request a refund or your Active Net account will be credited.

Archery Range Improvements

Recreation District crew members will start work on improvements to the archery range the morning of July 30th.  The range will remain open, but please be mindful of the work being done.

 

Back to School with Kids Klub!

Registration opens on August 3, 2020 for the Kids Klub school year program.  

You can still register for the summer session of Kids Klub held at the Lincoln School of Science and Technology.

This child care program is operating under COVID-19 restrictions. For more information, click here or contact the office at 719-275-1578 and ask for Jaimee Southern, Kids Klub Director.

Recreation District Activities During COVID-19

The Recreation District is following state guidelines in determining open registration for youth and adult outdoor recreational activities.

Registration for Kids Klub remains open.

We are continually monitoring the situation and working with local health officials to modify the programs we can offer at this time.  We thank you for your patience and understanding during this uncertain time.
